Rachel Bloom, creator and star of The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, announced that the cast of the television musical comedy will perform a live show at New York City’s Radio City Musical Hall May 14.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend recently ended its fourth and final season. Created by Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna, the show has been nominated for four Emmy Awards; Bloom won the Golden Globe for her performance in the first season. Bloom stars as Rebecca Bunch, who quits her high status Manhattan law firm and moves across the country to West Covina, California, after bumping into an ex-boyfriend who lives there. Each episode features original songs by Bloom, Jack Dolgen, and Adam Schlesinger.

The cast features numerous stage alumni, including Donna Lynne Champlin (Company), Vincent Rodriguez III, Skylar Astin (Spring Awakening), Gabrielle Ruiz, and David Hull (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), as well as Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Scott Michael Foster, and Erick Lopez. No word yet on who will take the stage in the live show.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has also featured Broadway stars in recurring and guest roles, such as Tovah Feldshuh, Patti LuPone, and Josh Groban. The show regularly parodies musical theatre, from numbers inspired by Chicago’s “Cell Block Tango” to Les Misérables “Do You Hear the People Sing?” The April 5 series finale was followed by the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Concert Special; all four seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
