Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik is well-known for coming up with socially relevant artworks time and again. This time, he is showing people how to wear masks properly.

Coronavirus continues to be a huge concern around the world, especially in countries like the US, Brazil and India. Despite a large number of cases, several citizens do not wear masks correctly. It is imperative that when one steps out, he/she wears a mask that covers his/her nose and mouth. This is the message that Pattnaik sends out through his work.

He shared a picture of the art on Twitter and wrote, “My Sandart at Puri beach with message ‘Wear Mask Properly’ #StaySafe #FightAgainstCOVID19 (sic).” Netizens were all praise for the artist and applauded his efforts.

Last month, he had paid tribute to Sonu Sood applauding the actor’s relentless efforts to enable migrant workers to reach their hometowns after days of being stranded in their work cities post the nationwide lockdown.

Sood, in response to Pattnaik’s art, immediately said, “Thank you so much, brother. Beginning my day with this encourages me to work harder. Love you so much and wish to come and give you a tight hug soon.”
